A Systematic Y-DNA Study

I have been nibbling away at my family tree for more than 30 years. Only recently, I have turned to Y-DNA as a resource, forming a surname project on Family Tree DNA. After more than four years, there are now 119 members of the Beaumont surname project. More than 30 Y-DNA matches make up the group I call “West Yorkshire Beaumonts.’’ And many more are maternally related.
